The MCU is one of the most popular franchises around right now, but no one really was clear on where the films sit in terms of time. The newest Marvel book, 'Marvel Studios: The First 10 Years' has given us the official Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline and we are GRATEFUL. Check it out!
- Captain America: The First Avenger: 1943 until 1945
- Iron Man: 2010
- Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, and Thor: 2011
- Avengers and Iron Man 3: 2012
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: 2014
- Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man: 2015
- Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming: 2016
- Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War: 2017
- The next MCU entry, Captain Marvel, premieres on March 8 and takes place in 1995.
