JAY-Z's 'Blueprint' To Be Archived In Library Of Congress

The Library of Congress has announced their annual 25 recordings entering the National Recording Registry for 2018, with JAY-Z‘s 2001 album 'The Blueprint' the most modern among them.

Every year, the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry picks 25 recordings that are “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant,” that are at least 10 years old. Picking 'The Blueprint', the Registry said, “Hip-hop mogul Jay-Z’s 2001 album … solidified his reputation as one of the greatest rappers in music.”
